Customer Service Representative (CSR)

The CSR identifies customers’ needs, verifies information, investigates problems, and offers solutions in a time-sensitive manner. She handles large volumes of inbound and outbound calls, and follows a call center script in order to direct the flow of conversation.

Technical Support Agent (TSA)

TSAs handle incoming calls and troubleshoot tech and network-related issues by analyzing problems and guiding customers through user-friendly step-by-step solutions. These issues usually include hardware setup, menu navigation, installing and uninstalling software, and retrieving or updating usernames and passwords.

TSAs must be able to diagnose the problem based on information gleaned from customers over the phone. This means that they must know how to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner. They must also observe standard protocol and procedures, particularly when handling sensitive information like passwords and account information.

The ideal candidate is a perceptive individual who thrives on challenges and is able to give instructions in a clear manner.

Sales Agent (SA)

SAs make outbound calls to prospective customers in order to capture leads, execute sales strategies, and sell the company’s products and services. They must guide customers through the purchasing process and close the sale.

These professionals demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the company’s products by answering questions and highlighting the benefits of every purchase. They lay the groundwork for future sales and maintain customers’ records in a computerized system.
